  • Question 1: The ADAM Welcome screen does not display properly when I open ADAM. There are xes where there should be icons.
Answer: You are not using the proper URL to open ADAM. The URL is http://apps.for.gov.bc.ca/adam. This resolves to a slightly different URL (http://apps18.for.gov.bc.ca/adam/welcome.do) when you open ADAM. If you then “Add to Favorites”, the latter URL is saved and is incorrect. To solve this:
    • log on to ADAM using http://apps.for.gov.bc.ca/adam
    • Add to Favorites
    • in Favorites, right-click the link, select Properties, then edit the URL to change the link from http://apps18.for.gov.bc.ca/adam/welcome.do to
      http://apps.for.gov.bc.ca/adam/ and save.
