Submission Specifications

• CF Memo (RISS-ls) – Provincial memo from Jim Snetsinger, announcing RESULTS Information Submission Specifications: Licensee Submissions, a document that outlines the form and manner of reporting data to RESULTS.
• RESULTS Information Submission Specifications: Licensee Submissions (Edition 4) – Edition 4 of the Silviculture Information Submission Guidebook describes submission specifications for electronic submissions to RESULTS via the Electronic Submission Framework;

Revisions to Edition 4 in response to input received by the Coastal Region Implementation Team (CRIT) and by users via the NRS Service Desk and Resource Practices Branch. As per direction from the Deputy Minister to make basal area a mandatory requirement, Section 5.7.2.2. has been amended. Other minor revisions have been implemented in order to increase clarity.

• Electronic submissions required – Deputy minister letter notifying licensees that all silviculture reports and amendments are to be electronically submitted to the ministry as of June 1, 2005.

• Modifying Standard Unit Data in RESULTS – Procedures on how to modify opening standards unit information in RESULTS to be consistent with, and accurately reflect, information in approved Forest Stewardship Plans, Forest Development Plans, silviculture prescriptions and their amendments, and amended site plans.
• Procedures for Submitting Forest Cover Retention Data to RESULTS May 5, 2016 – Describes how to submit forest cover with long term reserves or short term retention to RESULTS.  Examples are provided for wildlife tree and other long term reserves, and short term retention associated with common silvicultural systems and/or harvest practices (e.g., group selection, single-tree selection, FPPR 44(4) - no regeneration objectives, and unharvested stems)

• RESULTS DATA Guidelines for entering BWBS BEC codes into RESULTS, Direction on stocking standards and amendment submissions
• RESULTS – Districts Roles and Responsibilities  – Resource Practices Branch memo highlighting roles and responsibilities at various MFR level as it relates to RESULTS application.  This memo also serves as guidance to districts in terms of expectations for managing the information and ensuring data integrity and consistency with the reporting requirement.
• FRPA Administration Bulletin (Number 12) - Amending Site Level Information - Ability to Amend Code Site Plans Under FRPA – This bulletin applies to areas where an FSP has not specified that FRPA standards be applied to blocks harvested under the Code; therefore, these areas are subject to outstanding Code requirements with regard to reforestation obligations

Forest Stewardship Plan Submission Procedures

• June 27, 2007 Memorandum – Key points for the Procedures for Using FSP-Approved Standards in RESULTS
• Procedures for Using FSP-Approved Standards in RESULTS – These procedures are an Addendum to the Silviculture Information Submission Guide (SISG).  These guidelines describe processes to follow according to a desired action between the FSP tracking system and the RESULTS application such as how to:
  1. Create and amend FSP standards;
  2. Assign and change opening standards; or,
  3. Apply FRPA requirements to openings approved prior to FRPA.
• FSP Stocking Standards Submissions prior to FSP Tracking System – Procedures that were in place prior to the implementation of the FSP Tracking System.
• Reference Guide for Forest Development Plan Stocking Standards – Ministry reference guide to FDP stocking standard based on the Establishment to Free Growing guidebook.  Maybe used as reference for the development of FDP standards.
• Chief Forester's Letter on Stocking Standards – Procedural letter highlighting the removal for Silviculture Prescriptions (SP) approval by statutory decision maker under Bill 75.  The letter also describes procedures related to amendments for areas that had approved SP and areas without an existing approved SP (PDF format).
